knowing what you shouldn't know

Have you experience knowing the unconvinced thing that bother you? Sometime wouldn't it be better to not knowing it? I have no idea now which one is better. Please share me some ideas.

You know people are curious, we want to know everything especially about ourselves and people around us. But once we find out something that make us happen, we wish we haven't known it. :( However, our brain is not a computer memory stick that can be deleted whenever we want. So what can I do?

    First of all, Curiosity is a fundamental trait of human nature. Without it the modern world would not exist.

    Having said that I think that what you are referring to is a different kind of curiosity. It's about being nosy, isn't it? I'm not saying it's good or bad, but it usually has a bad connotation. In fact, I would counter your argument as follows: you mention that "we wish we haven't known it" I would say that most people say otherwise, i.e. "we wish we have known it."

    You are right that "the brain is not a computer memory stick that can be deleted", but there are techniques that you can learn to forget. Unfortunately, it's complex and difficult to master. But don't worry, allow enough time and everything will get deleted :-)

    Hey belove Proskmeng. My curiosity now to to find out who are you? Hehe...

    I really wish I haven't find out that story. It bother my brain and didn't make any better, only worse.If I didn't know this, it wouldn't make me unhappy for more than 48 hours. Anyway, time and everything will get deleted, like you said. Thanks you very much.
